Kindness begets kinndess. How could our nation promote graciousness if our mouth is not bridled, and our speech is defiled. It is very sad that Siew Khim has been using this blog to malign Mr Tan. It is even more pitiful that he habours unpleasant thoughts and living in unhappiness and all these could be seen from his blogging.Live conscientiously and have a thankful heart and Siew Khim, you might find peace within yourself and your perspective in life might change for the better.

Kin Lian,I thought you gonna bar any pitosngs from me? What the change of heart? You are getting soft my man.You are now using your blooging kaki to hantum me for my direct truthful comments on you. That's no fair man. They dared me to face you like the movie "High Noon" one to one with our guns ready. Coward does not mean refusing to show identity or not wanting to have one to one fight or to come out in the open. Such action is called "stupidity" not cowardice. You kaki called me all kinds of names. I don't want to waste time on such childish behavior. Futher they are venting their frustration on the failed investment.

Altruism, kin selection, and etviuolon are very interesting topics to me. The topic of etviuolon incorporates so many different aspects of life and how organisms have grown to become what they are today. The behaviors and adaptations all species have undergone are tremendous. It proves how advanced organisms are to be able to recognize, on one level or another, what will make their species thrive and adapt their behaviors accordingly. Organisms have come to realize that kin selection is extremely important to their existence. Most species tend to mate with others of their species that are just as well adapted to their environment as themselves or more so. This concept ensures offspring that are naturally prone to survive. Organisms that behave in this way also tend to be protective of their immediate kin in order to promote survival of their species. In the animal kingdom monogamous partners are protective of each other's survival as well as their offsprings'. They don't typically protect more distant kin. Humans have differing protective levels for kin as well as friends, affiliates, and others. Humans typically are protective of their immediate kin, such as children, parents, grandparents, and siblings. Often we see people who are just as protective towards nonbiological family members such as adopted members as well as step-members and close friends/acquaintances. Depending on ones culture additional family members can be included in this close kin protective circle. Since etviuolon is based on survival and adaptation progress, some species have adopted an altruistic approach. These species have found that the reciprocal form is the most effective for etviuolon. With this approach a species will not be taken advantage of by others who are free loaders . This will in turn promote better adaptation skills required for etviuolon.

On a slightly new topic:I would like to evteunally own a house, ideally in the ever-popular Greenlake region. (I know, I know) I'm willing to save and wait a while, so current property prices aren't terribly important to me. Quality of life, however, is. I would evteunally like to have a house that is reasonable to live in not super-huge, but not a cozy cottage either, with reasonably good insulation/electrical system/etc.Because the housing stock in my chosen region is mostly very old/small, I see three options:1. Purchase an old, ok-quality house and upgrade it.2. Purchase an old house already upgraded by someone else.3. Purchase a dump, level it, and rebuild. My question to the forum:How does one accurately evaluate the costs of these various options? I've found precious little real information on the costs of retrofitting properties in our area is it like a swimming pool that costs a lot to put in but doesn't add much to the purchase price, or is it like a garage->bedroom conversion that adds only a little value but boosts the price a lot? Is there one category that is likely to become more economical than others over the next 3-5 years? What sorts of costs are typical for these scenarios, so I know how to plan? Thanks all!
