Thanks, tigtog!I've just rieelsad like that sounds like I organised some HATy catch up that excluded most people I swear it was just a series of coffees and such that coincidentally happened to fall in the same week. Possibly I need to think before I open my mouth.Best with the collection of a new creature, Mindy. :) And this is most sadface-inducing, Mary.Chally's last post ..

Reflections of our WGHS class reunionBy Dot Horne Marrocco “Reflections” seem to be a very iprroppaate word. Being caught in the whirlwind of seeing my classmates and just trying to recognize them and reconnect was such a joy. Many thoughts and feelings passed through me as I looked into each of their faces and eyes. There were many different responses to my approach, but I did try to approach every one that I thought was a classmate. I want to try and sum up my experience. It doesn’t matter to me what our differences may have been 40 years ago. We have some years in common that no one else on earth can share. My heart was overwhelmed with love and gratitude for the special words, touch and smiles from each special person. I went with the attitude that I wanted to connect with everyone that was there. I am amazed at the accomplishments of our class. The least have become the greatest, and some of the greatest, the least. I don’t mean fame and money and good looks. I mean in the attitude of life. The long and winding road had brought us home once more. I hope that we can put aside whatever differences we have and cling to what we have in common and learn to grow together. You know, I think that we all need each other more than we know, now that we are entering our age of retirement. I agree with Kathy O”leary, all we have is the now. I hope that all of you will feel free to join my heart in wanting to connect on a deeper level. Even the ones who didn’t seem to want to connect are teaching me to love others in a deeper way. Like the tapestry illustration, our lives are entwined into a bigger picture. All the threads have a special place as they are woven through. Some may be one little golden strand, or a dark thread to cause another area to show up more brightly. To those classmates alive and gone, who are in touch and those who aren’t, my heart bursts with love and gratitude for you. A special thanks to those who have embraced me with open arms in spite of my many faults and imperfections. You are the cream that rises to the top!Al & Dot Marrocco4840 Old Hwy KLonedell, MO 63060-1714636-629-7532
