Phil, what kind of a man are you? A Manly Man! Rawr! ? I wish I could confiscate your teleicsts from here. Anyway, personally, I think a pretty girl is pretty, regardless of make-up, hair, or clothing. Changing it simply changes the style, it doesn't change her underlying bone structure, complexion, etc. If I know a girl and she changes her style, then I will probably notice, though I may not say anything (I'm the silent type). When two people are going steady, now, then a girl changing her style is kind of a primordial treat for a guy. Guys are genetically built to spread their seed, so that their offspring have the best chance of surviving by getting different mothers, upbringings, and genes. When a girl changes her make-up, the guy's id (that's what controls your desire for water, food, sleep, sex, etc.) thinks, Yes! A new partner! I get to spread my seed! It's a little similar with clothing, although we probably won't notice. Guys tend to have small wardrobes, since we're first of all considering the clothes function, and the fashion is an afterthough (unless we're trying to atract a girl, then the fashion is the function). You can see some guys go through their entire wardrobe in a week or two. Girls, on the other hand, tend to have more clothes, or at least more plausible combinations (If a guy has one pair of boots, casual shoes, dress shoes, sneakers, and sandals, then you won't see the boots, dress shoes, or casual shoes when he's in shorts. It would just look stupid.)
