QuotesChimp remedy to this issue would be to create a new state office: Public Advocate. The occupation of Public Advocate would be to choose the side of the typical insurance consumer when issuees of premium rate increases, insurance policy wording, insurance laws, or other problems of crucial import to consumers are being debated in the legislature or determined by the insurance commissioner. A Public Advocate would have the time, cash, tips, and skill to efficiently represent the consumer's viewpoint. This is tremendously significant from my view because I do not consider that the consumer is sufficiently represented in authorities. This new office would balance the equation.

A 2 year old could tell you the difference beetewn right and wrong. It is part of humanity, we all know the difference beetewn right and wrong. Longshot said: So if a 2 year old kills people, they should be tried as an adult, because they âknow the difference beetewn right and wrongâ?YIKES!Also, I donât know if you have kids, but Iâve got a couple, and let me tell you, a 2 year old has no concept of right and wrong on a moral level. They learn quickly what it is their parents react to positively and negatively, but thatâs it. Liberalmindedmom said: to all those people who say a 2 year old knows right from wrong. You guys obviously donât have a 2 year old It's hard to convey tone through text alone, so I think some of what I said was misconstrued.Longshot: I actually agree with you that a 2 year old has no concept of morality. And, you're absolutely right that children learn what their parents respond to very quickly. However, a 2 year old DOES have a sense of right and wrong. What they DON'T have is a sense of consequence, or limits. The psychological connection beetewn an action and it's natural/societal consequences is what you teach a young child.I'll give an example:Your 2 year old child (for this example: Jonny) gets into the cookie jar, and you catch him. You say sharply, Jonny! How does he react? Does he look at you with a confused look on his face because he doesn't know why you just raised your voice? No. He quickly pulls his hand out of the jar, and tries to look as innocent as possible.Jonny knows that he was doing something he shouldn't. However, he is seeing if he can get away with it - determining what limits there are when it comes to the cookie jar.Don't be surprised if even after this first time, and getting caught, that you catch Jonny getting into the cookie jar again. Now, he's testing to see if you are consistent, and if he can sometimes get away with it.Jonny is, in fact, determining if he can manipulate you to allow him to do wrong. He has, however, known from the start that he was doing wrong.Would you throw a 2 year old in jail for killing someone? Not very likely. However, the 2 year old would need to be shown that there were serious consequences for doing wrong. At what age would you throw someone in jail for killing someone? There is some argument over the age a child can determine morally right and wrong decisions. Most child psychologists would tell you beetewn 7 and 10 years old. Now, perhaps in the case of this 12 year old, the association of action to consequence, and maybe even the psychological recognition of morality have not been learned. The reason for such a developmental impediment would have to be significant, and would more than likely effect all aspects of her life.As she seems to have developed most other aspects of her life in proportion to what is expected for her age (she was in the correct grade at school, had friends, could read, etc) this would suggest that she was fully aware of morality and consequence.I hope that this is a little clearer than my last post.

I have two blribeud boxes. I saw a blribeud exit one of them, but I'm not sure they are nesting.I have discovered that blribeuds enjoy eating Japanese beetle grubs. One year I had a lot of grubs in my mixed border. I would collect the grubs in a bucket as I worked. Then I would dump them out in a little pile about 30 ft. or so from the birdhouse. I would call out in a high voice, Hi, Mr. Bluebird, I have some grubs for you. I don't know if he learned to recognize the sound of my voice or if from some distance he could see that white bucket. Anyway, he would show up and enjoy the feast.
